Disaster Relief Appeal
Help Hope SA Foundation Support Those in Need
At Hope SA Foundation, we’ve been on the front lines, providing critical assistance to communities affected by the dual crises of COVID-19 and the recent Disasters. The aftermath has left families in KwaZulu-Natal and Johannesburg, devastated, with 160,000 job losses and widespread food shortages.
Immediate Needs:
We urgently need your support to provide disaster relief, including essential items such as food, baby supplies, and pet necessities. Monetary contributions are also vital to secure transport and delivery vehicles for the 600km journey from Johannesburg to KZN.
Our Reach:
Our dedicated team has set up collection points across Johannesburg for local contributions. Our daily food drives in Johannesburg, serving 400 hot meals, distributing food hampers, PPE, and blankets, cover areas including Diepsloot, Alberton, Tembisa, and many more.
In response to the KZN disaster, we have swiftly provided aid to over 30,000 people in Pietermaritzburg, Durban, Reservoir Hills, Phoenix, Verulam, Tongaat, Chatsworth, Shallcross, Merebank, Mobeni, and Nanoti.
How You Can Make a Difference:
1. Donate: Every contribution makes a significant impact. Your financial support helps us purchase essential supplies and cover transportation costs.
2. Volunteer: Join us in our mission to assist families and communities. Your time and effort can make a lasting difference.
3. Share: Spread the word on social media using #HopeSADisasterRelief. Your voice can amplify our reach and bring attention to the urgent needs.
Beyond immediate relief, our mission extends to addressing long-term challenges. We aim to combat unemployment by creating jobs and providing skills development opportunities.
